While it is a bummer in the end i couldn't 3D print my model, I do get to render and imagine what using my hexgrid pen organizer would be like.
Here is the render of the design. Simple wall types at the back, small but wide grid to place them on, all on a baseplate that stays on the hexgrid for a stable ground
- Tileable, Customizable sectioning
- Hexagons allow for wall pieces to go in any direction
- Many different groupings and layouts imaginable
... if your reading this im working on the IRL render and/or other wall combinations to put here...
... it took me so much longer to get this far than i couldve possibly imagined... i know it might not look like it :(
... if i WAS 3D printing it,,,
- The infill would be 10%
- Layer height would be .3mm
- And it wouldn't need any additional build plate adhesion apparatus since itself is a baseplate.
